The Northern Third Ward Neighborhood Implementation Project (NTW) is a Wells Fargo Regional Foundation-funded community development initiative, which grew out of a successful 10-month participatory planning process completed in August 2017. The project directly responds to the rapidly-changing neighborhood dynamics of Houston’s Historic Third Ward. Over 360 Northern Third Ward residents and stakeholders worked together to develop a comprehensive resident-led neighborhood plan that strategically identifies over 75 community projects and programs collectively defined as priorities for the Northern Third Ward neighborhood.
